BetterBody Foods: The Healthy Baking Essentials
Looking for healthy substitutes to use in your baked goods? I first came across BetterBody Foods when I found their PBFit in the baking section at Walmart. I was INSTANTLY hooked! PBFit is by far my favorite product by BetterBody Foods, because it is so versatile. I can simply mix it in my smoothies, eat it plain, or even use it as one of the main ingredients in my Protein Packed New York Style Cheesecake crust.

With only 50 calories, 3 grams of fiber, and 4 grams of protein per serving, PBFit is a great way for me to satisfy my craving for a creamy, chocolatey treat. (TIP: Try mixing 2 tablespoons PBFit, 2 tablespoons unsweetened vanilla almond milk, and 1 teaspoon stevia together and putting it in the freezer for one hour for a frozen dessert!)
Great Smoothie Add-Ins
100% Organic Cacao Superfood Powder
Not only is cacao powder LOADED with antioxidants, fiber, and protein, but when paired with stevia, it makes a great substitute for chocolate in your baked goods. I LOVE mixing this cacao powder into my protein shakes in the morning. Try combining 1 tablespoon cacao powder, 2 teaspoons stevia, 1 tablespoon PBFit, 1 scoop chocolate protein powder, 1 cup of almond milk, and 6 ice cubes in a blender for a delicious, creamy, chocolate smoothie. LIVFit Plant Protein
Also a great smoothie add-in, the LIVFit Plant Protein is 100% VEGAN! This plant protein is 80 calories per serving and only contains THREE ingredients: pea protein, quinoa protein, and organic agave inulin. This powder is flavor free, so it can be added to any smoothie without affecting the taste.
LIVFit Superfood Blend
Get that extra boost of nutrition in your morning smoothie with the LIVFit Superfood Blend! This powder is also flavorless, so it works well in any smoothie, oatmeal, or baked good.
