You know what they say... You are what you EAT! The foods that you put in your body should nourish you from the inside out. Following a healthy diet is CRUCIAL to having clear, beautiful skin. It wasn't until I started fueling my body with clean, whole, foods that I noticed a HUGE difference in my skin. If you are struggling with acne, start by switching up your diet. These 9 foods are great contributors to that healthy glow we all crave in our skin.

1. Dark chocolate

Thats right... CHOCOLATE! Dark chocolate contains high levels of flavonoids that have been shown to increase blood flow to the skin, improving complexion and combating dryness.

2. Red Bell peppers

Red bell peppers contain high amounts of Vitamin C & E, both of which have been proven to help keep your skin strong and youthful, and reduce inflammation.

Specifically blueberries, berries are high in Vitamins A & C, rich in fiber, and full of antioxidants. Blueberries have been linked to improved circulation, keeping your skin glowing.
