Bare Med Spa: My First Hydrafacial Treatment

My motto for the entire month of February:

Treat yo'self.

Because YOU deserve it!

So, following the theme of February, I made a visit to Bare Med Spa in Leawood, Kansas on Saturday. I had actually NEVER been to a spa before! Since it was my first visit, I was super excited to learn more about all of the services Bare Med Spa has to offer. Being a Kansas City native, I was thrilled to learn that they actually have 3 locations throughout the city:

Nall Valley Shoppes, Leawood, KS Park Place in Leawood, Leawood, KS Downtown Kansas City, KC, MO

"Bare Med Spa is Kansas City's premiere modern medspa offering full-service skincare treatments, laser hair removal, weight loss program, injectables & fillers, and more. Bare Med Spa is known and loved by many of Kansas City's top media, athletes and celebrities."

Bare Med Spa is Kansas City's premier aesthetic medical spa - offering countless treatments to help make you feel as confident as ever the moment you step foot in one of their spa locations. I can definitely say I was impressed with the Park Place spa's gorgeous lobby layout!

Some of the services offered at the three different locations include:

Skin Rejuvenation

Laser Hair Removal

BioIdentical Hormone Replacement Therapy

Spray Tans & Massages

Cosmetic Injectables

Body Contouring

hCG Weight Loss Program

Facial Waxing and Tinting

They also sell a number of products for brighter, healthier skin. I was immediately interested in the Hydrafacial treatment, because skincare is something that is very important to me and I had heard good things about hydrafacials.

I learned SO MUCH during my first visit to Bare Med Spa. The Bare Med team was great about educating me on the different treatments available, and once I had selected one, they described each step in detail and made sure I fully understood the process and what results each step would produce.

The HydraFacial treatment is designed to help reduce the damage done to your skin from every day wear and tear. Whether we realize it or not, the second we step outside in the morning our skin is effected by the pollutants and toxins in the air, and the HydraFacial treatment helps clean and restore your skin to achieve long term health and a natural glow. The treatment itself only takes about 30 minutes, but you will see results immediately that last for about a month. The best part is that it is noninvasive and does not require any recovery time, so you can go about your normal daily life right after you receive your HydraFacial.

The HydraFacial treatment is divided into 6 steps: vortex exfoliation, vortex peel, vortex extraction, vortex boost, vortex fusion, and extend & protect. After cleansing and exfoliating, impurities and dead skin cells are removed and vital nutrients for the skin are replenished through antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid. All of these agents help reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, plump and firm the skin, and protect it against external pollutants.

I can definitely say I will be back for another Hydrafacial treatment! The procedure itself was super relaxing, and I noticed an immediate difference in my skin. It felt smooth, fresh, and hydrated right after the treatment was finished, and as the day went on I only noticed even more improvement in my overall complexion.
