Christmas may have come and gone but I can ALWAYS go for something warm and gingerbread flavored. The smell of nutmeg and cinnamon together just reminds me of the holidays! This Guilt-free Gingerbread Popcorn was one of the recipes in my 12 Days of Toning Guide, but before December ends I wanted to share it here on the blog as well. WARNING: this stuff is addicting. But the good news is, you can eat the entire recipe for just 157 calories and less than ONE GRAM of sugar.

Air-popped popcorn is one of my favorite light snacks to replace potato chips or another crunchy food that can be easy to mindlessly munch on. In this recipe, I drizzled warm melted almond butter over the top of the popcorn to help the nutmeg, cinnamon, and stevia stick. But also because I just LOVE almond butter and it really adds a burst of flavor to this recipe. Almond butter is a great source of healthy fats and it will help you stay full for a longer period of time - so it is perfect to add to your breakfast or an afternoon snack. This popcorn literally took me like ten minutes total to make. SUPER easy, yet super delicious! Check out the recipe below.
