Happy LAST Friday of 2017! It is so crazy how quickly this year has gone by. I am going to keep this post short and sweet and get right to the good stuff: a dumbbell only, at-home legs & glutes workout.
This is the exact workout I did this morning. After I published the 12 Days of Toning Guide I got several requests to create an ebook challenge that was filled with dumbbell specific exercises, so I wanted to share a little sample of what some of my own dumbbell only workouts are like! My at-home gym is full of convenient, easy to store pieces like dumbbells, a medicine ball, a stability ball, and the occasional box for box jumps and step ups.

There are numerous benefits to using dumbbells in your workouts over a machine. First and foremost, when you use free weights, your core is required to be more engaged in order to provide stability and support during the movement. When you are using a machine, this aspect is removed because the machine does the stabilizing for you. Not to mention, dumbbells are one of the most versatile pieces of equipment you can invest in! Check out the full rundown of the workout below - and yes, ALL you need is a set of dumbbells!
