At-home Dumbbell Only Workout | Tone Your Legs & Glutes With Minimal Equipment


Happy LAST Friday of 2017! It is so crazy how quickly this year has gone by. I am going to keep this post short and sweet and get right to the good stuff: a dumbbell only, at-home legs & glutes workout.

This is the exact workout I did this morning. After I published the 12 Days of Toning Guide I got several requests to create an ebook challenge that was filled with dumbbell specific exercises, so I wanted to share a little sample of what some of my own dumbbell only workouts are like! My at-home gym is full of convenient, easy to store pieces like dumbbells, a medicine ball, a stability ball, and the occasional box for box jumps and step ups.

There are numerous benefits to using dumbbells in your workouts over a machine. First and foremost, when you use free weights, your core is required to be more engaged in order to provide stability and support during the movement. When you are using a machine, this aspect is removed because the machine does the stabilizing for you. Not to mention, dumbbells are one of the most versatile pieces of equipment you can invest in!
