Strawberry Cheesecake Energy Bites | Healthy Snack Recipe
The Love 2 Move fitness challenge was a success! Thank you so much to everyone who participated and downloaded the challenge guide. No worries if you missed the challenge dates, because the guide is STILL available for download (and always will be) under "Free Challenge Guides." You can find the 12 Days of Toning guide and the 5 Day Core Comeback guide there as well. The best part: these are all FREE guides that come with workouts you can do anytime, anywhere and have some of my favorite healthy recipes inside to help you develop a love for a healthy lifestyle.
These Strawberry Cheesecake Energy Bites were one of the recipes in the Love 2 Move guide and they are definitely one of my new go-to snacks. Seriously, these things are the DEFINITION of simple. They only have six ingredients and make the perfect on-the-go treat! I love to store them in the refrigerator or freezer for an extra creamy and cool snack to satisfy my sweet tooth. All you have to do is throw all the ingredients in to a bowl, mix it up, and roll them in to bite-sized balls. The main ingredients are greek yogurt, coconut flour, and vanilla protein powder; so they are grain-free, gluten-free, and do not have any added oils. To make these dairy-free, all you would have to do is sub the greek yogurt for almond or coconut based yogurt. Oh yeah, and they are 55 CALORIES EACH.
I repeat: 55 CALORIES EACH. No, this is not a dream and these are in fact real. Check out the recipe below!
Double Chocolate Zucchini Muffins
Giant Red Velvet Protein Cookie
